Ashlynn and Eli were able to go "shopping" at the Awana Christmas Store. There they picked out gifts for each person in the family. It was so neat to see how thoughful each of the gifts were. Ashlynn picked out a small screwdriver set for Nick, a makeup brush set for me, a marker and stamp set with Lightning McQueen for Eli, and a sippy cup for Isaac. Eli picked out soap for Nick, a snowman candle topper for me, a set of princess pencils for Ashlynn, and Tigger socks for Isaac. They were so excited to give their gifts that we opened them up that night. Ashlynn and Eli hugged each other once they traded gifts. Ashlynn said to Eli, "That was a perfect gift for me!" I am glad they are understanding the "giving" part of this season.

Dana, these are such precious pictures with the children in their Christmas PJ's. I think that it is a very good thing that they are learning at AWANAS with the giving of gifts to someone else. They really picked out some appropriate gifts, too, didn't they? Smart kiddies.
They did such a great job! Good stuff all around!
