This year, Easter Sunday was filled with many activities. Not only the typical Easter goings on, but also the children's choir sang at church and it was our 6th anniversary. So a very fun-filled day! The night before, Ashlynn helped me make ressurection cookies. So we ate hardboiled colored eggs and cookies for breakfast. The kids got into their Easter baskets, and then it was off toget dressed for church. We even had plenty of time to take a few pictures before we headed off to church! Once at church, we prepared for the "Sunday School Sing-A-Long" Easter specials. Then off to Nona's house to enjoy time with the entire family from both sides and a huge Easter dinner. Even through all of the activities. It was refreshing and think about why we celebrate this day. What our Lord did for us over 2000 years ago was the ultimate sacrifice! But, on top of that, we also know that He lives....even in ME!!! I am so thankful for the God I serve and the sacrifice he made for me!
