"Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. It is, after all, mostly little, common things that make up our lives."

Ashlynn's masterpiece

Today while Eli was taking his nap, I helped Ashlynn review her verses for Cubbies. We used my erasable plate to practice. After reviewing, Ashlynn wanted to write her name. She does pretty well making an "A", but the other letters she struggles with writing (although she can spell her name and recognize the letters!). After writing "A", she started drawing a butterfly and a family picture. She drew my face (on the left of the plate), Eli as a baby in a blanket ( on the bottom), and Daddy with, as she said, "hair that sticks up" (on the upper right). She was quite the charcter when drawing! She has really started to enjoy coloring and drawing. It amazes me what that little brain can come up with sometimes!

Daddy's hair sticking up must be because Nona gave him a haircut??? Course Mommie and Eli look great, right???
