Ashlynn's K-5 graduation

This past Thursday, Ashlynn graduated from kindergarten. We have had a wonderful year together adjusting to being a homeschooling family. The home school co-op we are a part of has a wonderful group of people who work together to pull off a great graduation program each year. This year's theme was "The history of TV!" The kids sang songs about the days of the week and the months of the year to the tunes of "The Addams Family" and "The Beverly Hillbillies." They also went through the short and long vowel sounds and shared highlights from old shows. Ashlynn had the long "O" sound. Her line was, " O says O as in Hogan's Heroes. A comedy about a POW camp during World War II." They all did a wonderful job! Nick and I presented her with her diploma. We are so proud of her. After the program, we headed over to the reception. Each family decorated a table for their graduate. It was a fun night to celebrate! I am so privileged to have the chance to teach my children. It has been a joy to have a front row seat as she learns each and every day!
