We have been having a lot of fun during our "schooltime" each day. We have 29 days of school left this year. Eli joins in with the action most of the time. Isaac is usually taking his morning nap when the exciting things happen. Ashlynn is looking forward to Kindergarten graduation in late May. She is already practicing for her program. This year's theme is based on old TV shows. Since she has really never heard of some of these shows, I have introduced to her a little about a few of them such as Mighty Mouse, Hogan's Heroes, The Beverly Hillbillies, A-Team, Hee-Haw, and Gilligan's Island. We are looking forward to a really great program. Below are a few snapshots of some of the things we have been studying
Our volcano that we watched erupt!

While studying about rainbows, we learned the 7 colors of the rainbow. We also created the spectrum using milk, dish soap, and food coloring. They were so excited to see the colors of the rainbow appear!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! We celebrated by reading and eating green eggs and ham.

While learning about spheres, we talked about bubbles. This is Ashlynn's finished bubble painting.

Subtraction Bowling. Ashlynn has been learning subtraction facts up to 6. While cleaning up the boys room one afternoon, I found our bowling set and realized it had six pins. **Perfect for practicing our subtraction** Ashlynn and Eli took turns bowling. Ashlynn then wrote subtraction sentences for each turn. They really enjoyed practicing subtraction this way!
