The weekend before Easter the kids went on many egg hunts. Ashlynn started out on Friday at her class Easter party. Eli joined in the fun at C-C and Pops church on Saturday, and then a birthday party on Sunday. We had an "egg-filled" weekend!
Ashlynn's class enjoyed eating Easter treats, dyeing eggs, reading Easter stories, and then the egg hunt. She not only had to find eggs, but also find the eggs with her name on it! That made for an exciting egg hunt.

At the church egg hunt, there were 25,000 eggs hidden for various age groups. It took about 5 minutes to round up all of those eggs. Eli enjoyed finding the eggs, but once he realized each egg had candy in it, he wanted to open every egg after he put it in the basket. The kids also enjoyed playing on the big slide and the bouncy toys. Eli has finally brave enough to follow Ashlynn to the top of the big slide. We was a little surprised as he traveled down the slide!
