"Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. It is, after all, mostly little, common things that make up our lives."

Ashlynn's Thanksgiving party

Ashlynn had a fun time being an Indian at her class Thanksgiving party. I was one of the mother's to help with this party. We made cupcakes shaped like turkeys for each child in the K-4 classes. This meant we had 48 cupcakes! (some were for the parents and teachers!) All of the classes came together, some were Indians and some were Pilgrims, to celebrate their Thanksgiving feast. One of the moms helped the kids make t-shirts with their handprint to look like a turkey. . Each shirt said," gobble, gobble." She also helped the kids make placemats using their foot and hand prints. The feast consisted of Chick-fil-A nuggets, fruit, cupcakes, and lemonade. What a fun feast we had together!
