During our week at the beach we visited the Treasure Island Mini Golf and the Nascar Speedpark. Eli carried his orange golf club around most of the course. He was most intrigued with all of the water that surrounded some of the holes! Ashlynn picked out a green golf ball (her favorite color). At first she wanted to just drop the ball in the hole, but after a few holes, she decided to try to put. She did pretty good. Everytime she got putted close to the hole, she would pick the ball up and drop it in the hole! At the end of the course, Ashlynn was declared the winner! When we arrived at the Nascar speedpark, we decided to get tickets for the kids to ride the rides. Eli was able to ride as long as an adult was with him. He loved riding in the cars! The first time we rode, I didn't think the ride would go as fast as it did! We all had a good time on the kiddie rides. Ashlynn attempted to drive a go-cart, but was not very successful! I think she needed to be a few inches taller. Everytime she started to go, she forgot to turn the wheel and she bumped into the side of the track. The track worker had to follow her and turn the wheel just so she could get around once! We all stood on the side and laughed at her first driving experience! Before we left, Nick used the last few tickets to take Ashlynn on the Big go carts. They rode together, but on lap two their go-kart stopped. Everyone else just zoomed on by. But it worked out, because they ended up getting another ride! We had a lot of fun!
