"Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. It is, after all, mostly little, common things that make up our lives."

Ashlynn's Homemade Valentines

Ashlynn enjoyed making homemade playdough last week for her class valentines. We made two different colors, red for the boys and pink for the girls. On Thursday, we cut out playdough hearts for each of her classmates. Ashlynn worked very hard to write each of her classmate's names on each card. She did a wonderful job! The cards all said, "Dough" you want to be mine? It was a lot of fun to get these valentine goodies made!

She also made a valentine for her teacher. We traced her hand and she decorated the handprint with stickers. I wrote the phrase, "Hands down, you're the best!" on the handprint. Then we taped her handprints to a bottle of lotion. She had so much fun passing out valentines at school for the first time. Thanks to Family Fun magazine, we had some great ideas to use!
