Snow in March!

We had to wait until March to get snow, but it was worth the wait. It was absolutely beautiful to sit and watch the snow fall on Sunday afternoon. The sky looked as if millions of feathers were falling! The kids enjoyed playing in the falling snow on Sunday. Sunday evening, our power went off just as we were finishing supper. Nick and I decided to put the kids to bed with extra blankets and socks. It got cold during the night in the house, but everyone stayed nice and warm! Thankfully, the power came back on late Monday afternoon. Ashlynn and Eli both went outside to play on Monday morning. Ashlynn loved every minute. Eli was not as happy. We doesn't like to be wet or messy. The snow on his hands was too much for him! He just went to the front porch and waited to go inside. So, my pictures of him are not very good. This week started out with 4-5 inches of snow on the ground, and it will end with 64-70 degree weather. That's what you get when you live in the South!
