Yellow River Ranch-Road Trip Part 1

The week of July 4th our family headed down to Tallahassee, Florida for a family reunion. I thought it would be fun to break up the trip and stop at different places along the way. Our first stop was at the Yellow River Ranch right outside of Atlanta. This place was so much fun. You can feed all of the animals from deer to buffalo. Some of the animals are still in cages when you feed them, some eat out of your hands, and some eat from devices they have rigged up. You put the food down the tube, and the animals catch it at the other end. Along the trail there are rabbits, roosters, chickens, deer, pigs, and squirrels. All of those animals will eat out of your hand! The kids had such a fabulous time doing this! I tried to get a picture of both kids at the end of our adventure, but as you can see above, the deer kept getting in the way! We also had a picnic at in the picnic area, and let the kids play on the playsets! What a great first stop. We can't wait to go back!
