Eli loves monkeys! He especially loves his monkey towel. He still will not say the word monkey. He refers to monkeys as "Ha-has" This is due to the sound they make. Most of the animals he talks about are named with their sound. Roosters are "uh-uh-uh-uh-doos", dogs are "bark-barks", and cats are "meows" (said really high and quiet!). He also has started to say his name, and lets me say it is so precious to hear this! Ashlynn sat him down last week and kept practicing his name with him. By the end of her lesson, he could say his name!
