We had a great time at the Discovery Place. Since Nick was off, we woke up and decided to take a road trip to Charlotte! Both of the kids were wonderful on our trip, despite going without our normal naptimes! The Discovery Place was too exciting to sleep through! Even though a lot of the exhibits were hard for Ashlynn to understand, she enjoyed all of the sights! When I asked her what her favorite thing from the whole day was, she said the green eels! She thought they looked like the ones from The Little Mermaid! Ashlynn touched some sea creatures, rode on a pulley operated seat, stood by a simulated tornado, and saw the BIG bear! Eli seemed to enjoy the exhibit showing the way waves are made at the beach. Both of the kids had a fun time, and were worn out after it was all over!
