"Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. It is, after all, mostly little, common things that make up our lives."

Charlotte Nature Museum

Ashlynn and Eli played in the stream at the "My Big Backyard" exhibit. They both had fun in the water with the plastic lizards, frogs, turtles, and ducks!
Eli and Nick watch the turtle hang out on the rock. Eli was very intrigued!
Nick in the fly head!
Ashlynn-The cutest bug!
While we were in the butterfly pavilion, a butterfly landed on Ashlynn's hairbow. She stood really still for me to get a picture!

We had such a fun time at the Nature Musem. The kids got to see a mink, an oppossum, lots of snakes, lizards, turtles, bugs, and butterflies! The "My Big Backyard" exhibit had a place for the kids to crawl through a tunnel like an earthworm, pop out of the ground like a groundhog, and dig in the sand like a mole!
