Eli's first birthday was on Friday, but we celebrated with a party out our church on Saturday afternoon. Our friends and family from around here came to celebrate with us. The theme was "I dig being one" with construction site stuff. The kids had fun with legos and building blocks. Eli sat in his high chair and ate his supper all by himself. When the cake came, he LOVED it! He very quickly started putting his finger in the cake and then licking his finger. He made a mess, but it wasn't really that bad. We did find out that yellow icing stains fingers! We had a wonderful time celebrating his birthday!
